Pauline found in one of the corners of the Internet a site that once existed. It was the site of Captain's Second Division. On the site the following story (translated from Dutch by me) was written as 'History of our kennel':

Once upon a time... there was a son of a forester, looking for a dog for his hobby (hunting). He chose a black Labrador Retriever pup and named him "Bor". It appeared to be a golden dog, for at the age of only 6 months he retrieved a pheasant (almost as big as he was). Bor's nose was one in a thousand. In the water he was the best, and at home he was a real cuddly bear. But, like people, Bor got older, retired and enjoyed his old age. Meanwhile, when Bor became stiff and rigid, his successor came into our house. A yellow Labrador pup, all the way from Eibergen, with the (very original) name Boran.
Luckily no confusion arised between the dogs about their names. But quickly it came out that Boran was not like Bor. Boran was (is) a dog with a real temperament. When the man in the house wanted him to retrieve a just shot crow, Boran kept searching until he was sure that the crow wasn't there... Which could take a VERY long time sometimes. He could retrieve, but it only took some more time. As a pup he was "difficult", and quite expensive! Especially when he had remodeled the kitchen, and new kitchen doors were necessary, and new baseboards too and he also ate the wire of the outside lights (!). Bzzzzzzzz....
Okay, all was well, Bor enjoyed his old age, Boran did his job, and we went away for vacation... Then we received a call from Grandmother. "Something happened with Boran" she said. We almost fainted of course and were awaiting for the bad news. When we were seated, she went on: "He will become a father!".
What was happened: Grandmother also had a Labrador Borax, a brother of Boran. Borax had to service a dog, Lotje van de Eeuwige Jagers, but because Borax only stayed at a distance, the owner asked if Boran would service. Bor also wanted, but he was on holiday with us. So Boran was called, and he did the job!
Can you still understand it all? Because it's getting more complicated!
We were allowed to make a choice: have a puppy, or have the price of a puppy. That wasn't a difficult choice, a pup of course! So we decided to keep a bitch, and maybe go breeding with her one day. They were all blond puppies, so we got a little yellow Labrador bitch. And because we were very creative with names, we called her Bo. So now we had 3 dogs: Bo, Bor and Boran.
Bo was a very easy pup: very affectionate (but they are all lovable cuddly animals) and she loves to eat (she will eat ANYTHING). Just before our dogs get their food, the floor is getting a little slippery. We also hunted with Bo, and just like her step-uncle she has a good nose. She especially loves rabbit holes: often a blond Labrador goes in and a black one comes out (?).

Up to here this story. A very fine story about Crackers ancestors!
